Rope Access
Kyro’s Rope Access team performs a wide variety of work in hard to reach areas without scaffolding or heavy equipment. Our core services include inspections, investigations, testing, installations, repairs and maintenance on all types of building facades.
We work for engineering and architecture firms reporting on field conditions and performing testing in areas that are unable to be accessed by conventional means. We also work for building owners and managers performing maintenance and repairs. We provide critical information on the condition of buildings through detailed documentation. We are able to access areas of a building with minimal impact on the building, its occupants and its operations. Our skilled technicians are trained in all aspects of rope access and certified by SPRAT.
Destructive and Nondestructive Testing
Kyro can perform any testing needed from water tests and sealant pull tests to technical NDT testing.
Documentation
Inspection reports are generated on touch screen tablet computers creating interactive documents with investigation notes and pictures.
Installation
Kyro uses rope access in the installation of glass and translucent panel systems and sealant where lifts and scaffolds can’t reach.
Maintenance
Using rope access we can perform all required repairs and routine maintenance on all building components. We have replaced broken glass and metal panels, cleaned and caulked building facades and installed flashings and accessories all from ropes.
Quality Control
All of Kyro’s quality control personnel are experienced technicians and certified Army Corps of Engineers Quality Control Managers. We can provide outside quality control for any building envelope project.
